During this tour we will show you all highlights of capital city of the Upper Silesian Indistrial District. You will see all sites listed in our ‘Katowice City Walk’ program and additionally we will take you for a ride outside the city centre. You will learn a lot about history of Katowice and Upper Silesia Region. We will drive to Giszowiec and Nikiszowiec – historic workers’ settlements, today districts of Katowice City. Built from scratch in 1906-1919 for miners of the nearby mine ”Giesche” as innovative housing estates offering high living standards, today are some of the most interesting tourist sites in Katowice with unique architecture and atmosphere that attract more and more visitors every year. In 2011, Nikiszowiec settlement was included on the List of Polish Historic Monuments.
